Vank - Value Bank

Project overview
The mission of Vank was to create virtuous, free credit circuits on Blockchain to enhance the financial independence of individuals and businesses from the traditional credit system. Vank decentralized credit, making it free and P2P (Peer-to-Peer), so that businesses first, and later individuals, could benefit from the Vank P2P platform through economic incentive systems. This allowed them to access free credit, thereby reducing the role of financial institutions and banks.
P2P credit referred to a value exchanged between participants within the same circuit, where money was lent without interest, enabling them to provide each other with goods and services.

Crafting the Vision
Brand Design
The Vank symbol is based on a perspective cube, shaped in a way that highlights the letter “V,” which is also subtly mirrored in the semi-visible back part. I chose the cube because, psychologically, it conveys trust, stability, uniformity, honesty, and equality. Additionally, it resembles the blocks of Blockchain technology, reinforcing a sense of security.
The logotype is composed of lowercase letters, which, according to logo psychology, create a stronger connection between the consumer and the brand while also evoking innovation and the future.
The typeface used is Montserrat, which is consistently applied across Vank’s visual communication.
